What if you had 365 Days of content ideas for your business?
If you’re a creator, you are constantly accessing every iota to create.
But what happens when the well runs dry?
You can’t think anymore.
You’re drawing a blank.
You’re overwhelmed by trying to find ideas.
What do you do?
There are multiple ways to plan for consistent content.
It starts with having a plan–ask yourself, what would you like for your content to achieve?
- Is it more organic sales in your business?
- Are you looking for brand awareness?
- Do you simply need more traffic to your website?
- All of the above?
Once you’ve identified your goals for your content, It’s time to write a plan.
365 Days of content ideas for your business: Getting your content plan ready
Using a content calendar, start to map out the next 12-months of content. Have a “theme” for each day. Here are some examples for a week of content:
- Monday: Teach content–show audience a tutorial
- Tuesday: Inspire content-Share an inspirational quote
- Wednesday: Engage content- Share a “behind the scenes” of your office
- Thursday: Sell content- Share your prices in a graphic with a call to action to book a call
- Friday: Fun holiday post – (National Doughnut day, for example) Share your two favorite doughnuts and ask your audience which toppings they prefer.
Once you have your content type, prompt, and idea, It’s time to prepare the actual content.
Time blocking
I like to set aside 4-6 hours a day to sit down and create 2 months of worth of content at a time. Do this daily for 5 days, and you will have all your content created. You can also spread it out over the course of 1-2 weeks (whatever your schedule permits).
Get ready to get more focused. Turn off the TV and any other distractions to ensure that your time is maximized.
During that time make sure to time-block, record videos in batches, get your graphics prepared, edit your pictures, and write out the captions.
You’ll be surprised how much work you can churn out when you’re 100% focused.
