Do you thrive on crushing quotas and goals? Are you comfortable committing to revenue projection earnings to company leadership …and killing it? We are seeking a true “hunter” with an entrepreneurial spirit and drive in addition to an outstanding success rate generating sales and calling on target/key accounts. This experienced, high quality, new business development rep is expected to identify opportunities and pursue those opportunities through all stages of the sales process including negotiation, closing, and seeing through to kick-off. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position offers tremendous opportunity and carries the responsibility to build new, deep business relationships, generate net new revenue for The Admin Cove, and meet objectives with the following accountabilities.

As a member of the The Admin Cove Corporate Team, you are expected to participate in phone calls and meetings (virtual), while serving as an example of the company’s mission: The Admin Cove seeks to delight and satisfy our customers by exceeding their expectations of our services. We take on various areas of our clients businesses and treat them as if they were our very own.

Position Requirements:

  • Must have experience and understanding of sales and service in a services based organization. 1+ year of successful sales experience is required.
  • The successful applicant believes that proactive phone and email prospecting is still an effective way to identify opportunities and secure meetings with prospects.
  • Must be driven self-starter, a positive thinker, loyal and trustworthy.
  • Proven track record of strategic networking (not prospecting) and can articulate personal networking philosophy.
  • Attributes of flexibility, creativity, self-discipline, strong organizational skills and action-orientation are essential for this role, as the position offers a significant amount of responsibility with accountability for results.
  • Command presence with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player who is willing and able to “roll-up the shirt sleeves” to get a project done when needed.
  • High degree of autonomy with the capability of working remotely.
  • Potential to grow in responsibility as the Company grows.

Learn the Business

  • Have complete knowledge of The Admin Cove’s services and be able to comfortably conduct executive-level conversations with senior contacts at prospective and current clients.
  • Keep up to date on trending topics, literature and developments in staffing industry.
  • Bring excitement and passion to building the foundation of a new role and enterprise sales department.

Prospecting for New Business

  • Self-generate leads and opportunities from a strategic list of target accounts you’ve developed.
  • Build and maintain a healthy and aggressive pipeline of sales opportunities. Secure discovery meetings and initial sales calls with target prospects.
  • Apply an organized and systematic approach to your sales process, including research, meeting prep, territory management and account planning.

Relationship Building

  • Conduct an effective sales call/initial meeting utilizing the socratic selling method (effectively probe, uncover issues, articulate value, flesh out objections, define next steps, etc.).
  • Follow up with clients to keep them engaged in a lengthy sales cycle. Stay close and find ways to continually add value throughout the sales process, sharing information and best practices to position The Admin Cove as the trusted advisor and partner to do business with.

Team Collaboration

  • Customize proposals, work deals to conclusion, and provide post-sale support. Demonstrate teamwork and problem solving with prospects, clients and the internal The Admin Cove team.
  • Reviews of target prospects with leadership including analysis, commitments, & other reporting required.

Conferences, Networking Events & Marketing Follow Up

  • Represent the company while networking. In addition to generating leads on your own, follow-up on leads generated from marketing efforts in an effort to sell big.

Organization & Follow Through (no Sales Prima-donnas need apply)​​​​​​​

  • Be proficient in using a cloud-based CRM and update daily activity, reporting and deal status.
  • Set schedules and manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Be tech savvy and proficient in the tools necessary to integrate into The Admin Cove’s remote workplace culture.
  • Other duties as necessary as would be common in a smaller firm.
