How to identify your ideal client
As a business owner, entrepreneur, or influencer, you already have an idea of who your clients are.
But are they your ideal clients?
Ideal clients are those people who your product or service are aimed directly at and for.
Ideal clients are going to buy your product or service because they need and want it.
Ideal clients are those you narrow your marketing to speak directly to.
In 365 Days of Content Prompts and Ideas, I share an exercise to help you identify your ideal client to narrow your marketing to speak directly to those clients. In it, we focus on three areas.
Needs
- What does your ideal client need?
- What does your ideal client think they need?
- What does your ideal client actually need?
Desires
- What does your ideal client desire?
- Where does that desire come from?
- How does that desire manifest?
Pain points
- What are your ideal client’s pain points?
- What do they struggle with?
- What is the core of that struggle?
With these key areas of focus, I can help you narrow your ideal client and begin to speak directly to that ideal client.
Not only will a direct focus on your ideal client increase sales to those clients but it will help those wishy-washy prospects find their path as your ideal client or as someone you don’t need to work with!
